How long does shipping take?
Typically between 1-5 days. The order will be processed on the same day and handed over the next business day at the latest.

PRINTING & SCANNING
What is the scan reasolution?
150 microns. Our smallest effective scan size is a cylinder of 1.5 inches (3.8 cm) in radius and height. Each scan takes ~25 minutes depending on the amount of scan sides.
What is the print resolution?
Best print resolution is 80 microns, which is about the width of two hairs. The maximum print resolution is 8 x 6 x 5.7 inch.
What kind of material does ZEUS use?
The filament is PLA 1.75mm diameter.
What can I scan? What does not scan?
For objects that are dark or translucent we recommend coating the part with simple white mineral powder. The recommended option that works well is washable paint that will not damage the object. For transparent and shiny/reflective objects, we suggest crayola washable paint.
Scanned objects with many contours, holes, and/or complex shapes will produce a PLY (Point-Cloud) file that may require post-processing or editing to create a printable file. Scanned objects with a smooth finish like a statue or figurine will produce a PLY and STL file. Keep in mind that the laser scanner will pick up only surface data and cannot scan internal parts.
How do I know how much filament is used for a print?
There is a preview that will display how much filament (in weight) is needed to print an object before printing.
ZEUS update function does not work anymore, because I lost internet connection during the last update process. What should I do?
Please do a manual update. You can find the instructions here.
How many colors can I use in a single print job?
The Zeus has a quick and easy color change during printing feature. This allows you to use as many PLA filament colors as you like in a single print job. The color change occurs on the z-axis, or what we call in the industry "horizontal coloring".
